What Handsome Boys I Have

First of all, it is hot!! Maybe not so much hot, but very humid these last couple of weeks. We are doing good though and just wanted to share this beautiful picture with you all. I have to say that Bill and I are the luckiest parents in the whole world, we have some of the most handsome boys ever. They are all enjoying the swim weather.

Justice is done with summer school and is excited to start high school. Not only is he going to high school now, but he has also grown almost as tall as Bill over the summer as well.

Benjamin has mastered swimming under water without the floaties and asks probably a million questions a day. Today he was looking at a book and commented on how cute the girl was...he said "look at this beautiful girl mom, I will whistle at her...woohoo." I could go on with the funny things that come out of his mouth but I have to move on to the next one.

Matthew is a couple of inches shy of his brother and is growing up so fast. I believe he is trying to catch up with Benjamin. He just had his third birthday party and got some really fun things to do.

Jonathon is almost 10 pounds and is growing like crazy too. His colick seems to be getting a little better and he gives me at least one good smile every day. Bill is keeping busy at work with the horses and soon to be with the dogs and cats. I am keeping busy with the kids and I am not looking forward to starting work next week and school next month.

BOWLING!!

We all were home last Friday and we wanted to take advantage of it. So we let the kids decide where they wanted to go and they chose the bowling alley. Okay, so Justice decided he was really to go bowling again and the other two agree to anything big brother wants to do. We had such a blast though, they have a ramp that you set up with the ball on top and it goes down the ramp and hits the pins. It was great!! The boys adored it!! Benjamin would even start all the way back by the entrance and run all the way and push the ball at the end. He thought it helped him out anyways, which I think it did. I just look at the new bumpers they have that just pop up whenever it is the boys turn and dissapear when it was Bill and I's turn. Okay, I am not very old but I can remember when they had to put the blow up bumpers in the gutters and everyone had to use them if they were used. It was great though and it was Matthew's first time. I think he liked picking out what ball he wanted to use the most though. It was cute on one bowl because he went to chase after the ball and slipped right on his booty!! Well I got some pics so here they are, hope you enjoy. If you really have to know...Bill won all three games...what a show off huh?

Science Center visit

This last Saturday we decided to visit the Arizona Science Center. I have mentioned the Culture Passes before, but we can get free passes to museums and stuff here in Phoenix through the Phoenix Library. We had a late start but were excited to get out of the house and do something for FREE. Well, we got there and there was a lot of cool stuff to see and do. There was rooms about building things, land, water, air, legos, space, and the body. I am sure I am missing some stuff, but there was a lot. The boys got to test their strength, feel different atmospheres, see how different storms are made, build stuff with all sizes of legos, fly a plane, look at different minerals, learn about radios and the computer age stuff. The kiddos had a good time I think and was pretty worn out. They learned a lot and so did we. We had a blast and wanted to share some pictures with everyone from there.
So these were from the Legoland floor. The knight above with the boys is make out of small little legos...it is unbelievable. The boys loved it there. They even had little outfits the kids could wear around. Matthew didn't like his so it didn't stay on too long.
This was a screen that you stood behind and the monitor would show the balls gathering up on whatever was behind it. It was pretty neat to see how it worked. However it did work?

This was a place where it blew air up in the air and the balls would float on it. The boys loved it.
This is a bunch of little cushions that you had to walk on, Matthew actually did the best on it. Then Ben below is my little Ben the Builder.

Children's Museum

I have to start this blog about my library experience. This is a new experience for me, not the books but getting these Culture Passes that they have. It is where they give you four free passes to one of like nine different museums and stuff to do around Phoenix. Anything to break up the zoo visits is fine for me. Anyways, I saw that they were going to have a Children's Museum one available this morning and Sherry wanted to meet up there to see it. I got there a little early and parked the stroller as close to the entrance as I could without feeling rude. I have learned that between these passes and the internet, people rush in as quickly as possible. It is almost funny to sit and watch an old man running for the culture passes that was infront of me. Okay, this isn't a short story...I got the kids seatbelted in for a ride of their lives and bolted with everyone else and got the pass....wooohooo!!

I showed Sherry the library and we were off to the Museum after a stop. We got there and was so happy that we had the culture passes since it is $9/person over 1 year old. I feel that the price was a bit ridiculous but was happy to be there. The place was just awesome and I loved it, the kids even loved it more. They had all kinds of rooms with different themes. I will show you some pictures and explain them to you as best as I can.
On this one...when you walk in the whole wall is covered in CD's hanging down the wall. As you can see on top that the light shines down and reflects off the disks and it just looks so cool. I couldn't capture the reflection like I wanted to but one day I will learn to use my nice camera.

Okay these are from the same area. There was a whole room full of these foam green noodles like the ones you put in the pool. They are all hanging and you just make your way through them all. There was a couple of open areas in there where we squeezed and took pictures. On the outside there was some huge shoes sitting there (the other picture) so I put Matthew in them. I sure hope they were there for people to play with and I didn't put Matthew in someone else's shoes. I don't know what I would have done if I had lost Benjamin or Matthew in the middle of those noodles...I would be there all day looking for them.

Okay these ones are just random things that were out in the hallways. The first one was by a ramp that you set these little cars on and you can race them on all kinds of different ramps. He loved climbing up there and riding his motorcycle. The other one is a great gift idea for anyone you want to drive nuts. It has a metal piece to bang on all types of wrenches. It wasn't as loud as another toy but it was pretty neat to see.

Okay these ones are pretty cool too. The first picture of Benjamin sitting infront of all the white stuff is shoes. Yes, they are shoes nailed to the wall and all painted white. You would think that I would get it that they want you to take your shoes off for the next room but I didn't know until I was in there already. The next of Ben with the flowers is a little house that you can pretend cook and sit at the table, pick flowers and all. The next room over had a grocery store where you can shop and check out and all that. It was just so cute. The one on bottom Matthew was sitting in this little spiral spot tha was kind of cool looking. I only got this picture because Robert was nice enough to help me out. It is so difficult to try to explain to a one year old where you want them for a picture. Anyways, still was cute and fun.

Okay on the bottom floor we took the boys back down and let them play. The first picture of Benjamin in the tunnel was a whole tunnel that went all the way around, pretty neat. I was asked to remove all shoes so we moved on to the drums. I do not like to take off the boys shoes or my own in public places...I just think that the floor is way too gross to go barefoot. The boys really loved the drums though as you can see. Matthew was just having a blast though and really enjoying himself. We finally were done and I didn't even want to leave but I was pretty tired. We had a lot of fun and appreciated Sherry and Robert going with us.

What a Happy Mother's Day

I had a wonderful day with all of myboys!! One of my favorite things to do is take pictures though and it is rare that I get to go on a trip to do just that. Well since it was Mother's Day and all I decided we were going to go to a spot I have been wanting to take pictures and have the guys pose for me. I know that we don't seem to happy in the pictures but you have to remember that it almost a hundrend out and it is close to noon so the sun is shining bright. Poor Bill has really bad allergies and never takes his sunglasses off for anything but to go to bed. They all were good sports about it and I got, I think, some really good pictures that I hope you all enjoy.

Okay so I didn't take this one...but we haven't taken a picture together in a while.

UPDATE

Well it has been awhile and I apologize for that. I just have been very busy. The boys are doing really good. Justice is doing well in school and growing so fast, I can't keep up with him. He started a new school this year and is still trying to work out the kinks. Benjamin is honery as usual, he is growing like a weed as well. He is really starting to talk more and more everyday. It is cute because he wants to learn all words and tries to say them all. He is really good at making animal noises. He is now learning shapes and colors. Matthew is also growing like no tomorrow. Today he got weighed and is at 13lbs and 14 oz I think it was. He is just a thick little boy. He is having some issues spitting up quite a bit so we are trying to pinpoint what is going on. Bill just took his Sergeant exam and we are crossing our fingers that he qualifies for an oral board. He is also very excited that football season has started, we just hope the Cardinals do better this year. Me, I have started school again and have started taking an excercise class...she is brutal but I love it.

I signed up for a 5K so I have been trying to find time to go run as well. Whew...if that isn't enough, we just had Ben's birthday party and will be having Justice's this weekend. I can't wait until next year when the three birthdays will be three weeks apart just about. We are getting ready to go to Georgia to see Danielle Jones and her new husband David Jones for their reception. The boys are just tickled to death, I am just worried about the trip with three boys and Bill who doesn't like to fly.
Anyways, I thought I would update with some photos of my boys and how cute and precious they are. Love you all and miss you everyone out there.
